| Wood Lathe Features:
The Shopsmith wood lathe is better than any other medium duty wood lathe that have ever used. The quality of the knives that Shopsmith provides is second to none. There are numerous accessories available that makes the wood lathe extremely versitile. I haven't had much opportunity to use the lathe with the exception of a couple of test spindles I did when I first got my machine. I do remember that the standard tool rest wasn't very friendly with my 10" long spindles. I will get the bowl accessory set as well as the pen making accessories in the near future. Check back here at a later date after I really put the wood lathe through it's paces and complete my evaluation. |
